St. Johns welcomes organizations such as Scouting to use the church building. The church is currently the Charter Organization for Boy Scouts of America Pack 50 and Troop 50
Cub Scouting is the foundation of BSA organization. And while it is designed for youth in the first through fifth grades, this program really involves the whole family as parents pitch in to plan and deliver activities. Scouts have a lot to offer. With the exposure to a unique hands-on learning experience through earning merit badges that reflect each boy’s budding interests, they unlock a world of discovery around them and forge their path for the future. Other organizations as part of the Scouting world are welcome to contact St. Johns if they are interested in hosting their meetings at the church. In the past we have hosted Girl Scouts of America and Venture Crews of the Boy Scouts of America.
