Devotional
After restoration comes responsibility. When Jesus restored Peter, He immediately gave him a mission: “Feed my sheep.” This pattern shows us that God’s forgiveness isn’t just about making us feel better – it’s about equipping us for service. When we experience God’s love and restoration, we’re called to share that same love with others. Our personal encounters with God’s grace should naturally flow into caring for others. This is how our faith becomes active and our restoration becomes complete.
Bible Verse
“Again Jesus said, ‘Simon son of John, do you love me?’ He answered, ‘Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.’ Jesus said, ‘Take care of my sheep.'” – John 21:16
Reflection Question
How can you use your experience of God’s restoration to help and serve others who might be struggling?
Quote
As he fed those disciples. He asks us, do you love me? We love you, Lord. We love you. Then go and feed my people as you have been fed, as you have been forgiven, as you have been brought back and restored.
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for Your restoring love. Help me to share that love with others. Show me practical ways to ‘feed Your sheep’ and care for those You place in my path. Amen.
