Hope in the Face of Death

Devotional

Death often feels like the ultimate enemy, bringing fear and uncertainty. But through His resurrection, Jesus transformed death from an ending into a doorway. When He conquered the grave, He removed death’s sting and gave us the assurance of eternal life. This doesn’t mean we don’t grieve losses, but we grieve with hope, knowing that death is not the final word for those who believe.

Bible Verse

‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live.’ – John 11:25

Reflection Question

How does the promise of resurrection change the way you view death and loss?

Quote

To lead you through that doorway of that tomb into eternal life. Yes, you will live and live forever.

Prayer

Jesus, thank You for conquering death and giving us the hope of eternal life. Help me to hold onto this hope when facing loss and to share this hope with others who are grieving. Amen.
