Devotional
God’s power to transform lives is dramatically displayed in Saul’s conversion. From a fierce persecutor of Christians to becoming Paul, one of Christianity’s most influential apostles, his story reminds us that no one is beyond God’s reach. This radical transformation shows how God can completely redirect a life’s purpose. When God intervenes, our past doesn’t determine our future. Instead, He can use our previous experiences, even the painful ones, to further His kingdom in ways we never imagined.
Bible Verse
“At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God. All those who heard him were astonished and asked, ‘Isn’t he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name?'” – Acts 9:20-21
Reflection Question
How has God transformed aspects of your life that once seemed unlikely to be used for His purposes?
Quote
Everything he had worked for everything he had stood for, he throws away. And now, three years later, he swims to shore and stands before Jesus at another charcoal fire and is fed by God, by the man he forsook.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for Your transforming power. Help me believe that You can use every part of my story, even the parts I’m ashamed of, for Your glory. Give me courage to embrace the new purpose You have for me. Amen.
