Devotion 4 for Transfiguration Sunday
Devotional:
As members of Christ’s body, we are called to be His hands and feet in the world today. The same power that transformed Jesus on the mountain works through us as we serve others. When we reach out to help someone in need, comfort the grieving, or support the weak, we’re allowing Christ’s glory to shine through us. This isn’t about our own ability or strength – it’s about allowing God’s transforming power to work through us. We become living testimonies of His presence and love in the world.
Verse:
For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building. – Hebrews 3:6
Question:
In what specific ways can you be Christ’s hands in your community this week?
Quote:
We use these hands then to be the body of Christ, giving, loving, embracing, holding, lifting up and healing others as he empowers us by his spirit.
Prayer:
Dear God, use me as Your instrument of love and grace. Help me to serve others as Jesus would, bringing Your light into dark places. Amen.
