The Plumb Memorial Scholarship
The scholarship was created by the Plumb Family in loving memory of William H. “Buster” Plumb. This scholarship is intended to support members of St. John’s who are planning careers in the human services professions. (teachers, nurses, social workers, etc.)
Eligibility:
- Must be an active member at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Farmington
- Must have successfully completed two full years of study in his/her chosen field and is continuing on with their education.
- A Letter of Recommendation is required
The scholarship amount is $500 and will be given out annually. Applications to be considered must be submitted by October 1st. Awards will be presented at a service during the following January. Students can apply two times and receive a maximum amount of $1000.
